    While a Chicago cop, I met the Skyliners' Jimmy Beaumont and Nick Pociask after thier Chicago performance in 1996. We wound-up in the old 'Back of the Yards' nieghborhood for a few cocktails.They were amazed at the similarities to their old Pittsburgh nieghborhood- 'regular people'.
  We became friends... really great guy's! The irony of it all is that their hit song 'Since I Don't Have You' was my late sisters' [Mary Ann] favorite- back in 1959.
